Slovakia is a multicultural country that is situated in central Europe, at the geographic center of the continent. The Slovak Republic, a landlocked nation, is well-known for its wonderful lifestyle, manufacturing prowess, and tourism appeal. Anyone from anywhere in the world can enter Slovakia with a visa.

About Slovakia Visa

Citizens of Schengen nations and those nations with visa exemption agreements can enter Slovakia without a visa and remain there for up to 90 days without paying any fees. How about the other people? That's what the Slovakian visa allows you to accomplish. It's an authorization that lets you enter Slovakia for different reasons and stays for specific amounts of time.

Procedure to Apply for Slovakia Visa

The Slovakian Embassy has contracted with the Visa Application Centres (VAC) to handle visa applications for Slovakia. Currently, Indian citizens can apply online for a Slovakian visa. The application is therefore completed offline. Make sure you meet all the requirements for the specific type of visa before beginning the application. Following that, you can submit the application in the manner described below:

  1. The first step is to obtain all the documents you would need for the particular visa type.
  2. After this, you must visit the website of the Slovakian embassy in India and download the application form.
  3. Fill in the form with all the relevant details including the purpose of your visit,
  4. Proceed to book your appointment at one of the VACs located across India. Note that if you are applying for the long term National visa, you must book your appointment directly at the embassy.
  5. Attend the visa appointment with the completed application form, appointment confirmation, documents and fees in person. You will also have to submit your biometrics here.

Note that if you have submitted your biometrics for the application for a Schengen visa in the past 5 years, you do not have to submit them again.
