A4 - This is the type that is issued to the consuls and their family members and their family members, who are the citizens of a foreign country.
A5 - It is the kind that is issued to individuals who are on a national mission in the interests of Georgia and to the ones conducting work visits on their diplomatic passports.
Type B - Special Visa
B1 - It is issued to the holders of service passports who are visiting Georgia on a work visit and to the members of foreign delegations. It is also applicable to fellow travellers and family members.
B2 - This visa is issued to the employees and service staff of the consular offices and their family members. It is also issued to the administrative, technical and service workers of the foreign diplomatic missions and of the international and humanitarian organizations in Georgia. It is also issued to the workers accompanying the holders of A2 visa.
B3 - It is issued to the travellers who are visiting the country under international treaties of the country, be it bilateral or multilateral. It is also issued to the members of military and peacekeeping forces and their family members.
B4 - This type is issued to the travellers visiting Georgia as members of different diplomatic missions in the national interests of the country.
Type C - Ordinary Visa
C1 - This type is issued to the travellers who are visiting the country for tourism. It is commonly known as a Georgia tourist visa.
C2 - It is issued for the ones who are travelling to the country to meet their friends and family. It is also issued to the freelancers.
C3 - Also called Georgia business visa, this visa is issued to the businessmen who are visiting the country to attend business meetings and conferences. It is also applicable to the applicants participating in any kind of workshops and internships or do research or for journalism. Even the crew members of the ships and the co-drivers of civil transportation also need to issue the type C3.
C4 - This type is issued for the ones who are looking for providing or receiving any kind of humanitarian assistance in the cases of hazardous and life-threatening situations. D2 - It is issued to applicants who are travelling to the country for an internship, carrying out educational, scientific, sports and cultural activities in the country. This type is also applicable to the press workers for carrying out their professional business.
D3 - This type is issued to the candidates who are willing to study in the country or carry out any kind of supervised research at an educational institute in the country.
D4 - It is the type that is issued to the travellers who are attending their family gatherings or reunifications.
D5 - This type is issued to the ones looking forward to owning a property in the country (other than agricultural land) worth more than USD35000 or GEL equivalent.
Type T - Transit
It is issued to the travellers transiting in Georgia to another country. This visa permits a stay of 10 days at max.
