About Belarus Visa

At the time of entering any foreign country, you will need a certain kind of permit. Belarus visa for Indians is nothing but a grant or permit issued for the Indian citizens who are looking forward to visiting the Republic of Belarus. The visa will allow you to tour the country, do business, or even work and study. The validity of the visa will vary as per the type of the visa and can even be extended in some cases.

 

Procedure to get Belarus visa

The process to apply for the Belarus visa is offline which is carried out by the Embassy of Belarus. The step by step procedure for the visa application is given as follows:

  1. Download and print the visa application form from the official Belarus embassy website.
  2. Fill the form thoroughly with all the correct details.
  3. Attach one photograph to the visa application form.
  4. Proof of accommodation - hotel bookings, invitation letter, etc
  5. Attach copy of health insurance certificate
  6. Submit the form to the embassy personally along with all the supporting documents.

After the submission of the documents and the visa application form is done, the Embassy will process the documents and the passport will be provided with the visa stamp for Belarus. The passport will be mailed back to you on your registered address.

Also, take note that you must submit genuine documents as there are chances that with false documents or unverifiable information the visa may get rejected. The visa rejection will even affect your future visa applications.

 

Belarus Visa Types

The visa to Belarus are divided into three different types based on the period of stay it has to offer. They can be classified as following.

B Type Visa: It is a visa that allows you to transit in the country, therefore, also called as transit visa. The validity for this visa is dependent on the transit period.
C Type Visa: It is a short term visa. You can avail this visa for tourism, visiting a relative or friend, or do business on a short stay. The validity offered by C type visa is of 90 days. Tourist visa, Visit visa and Business visa are classified under this category.
D Type Visa: Also referred to as long term visas, the D type visa is issued when you have to stay in Belarus for a longer period of time. It is a multiple entry visa that is valid for a year allowing you to stay in the country for 90 days per visit.

 

Checklist For Belarus visa

There are different sorts of documents required for the Belarus visa.The common documents that are mandated are listed as follows:

  • A visa application form, completely filled with correct information.
  • One recent photograph as per the standards of the photo specifications.
  • Passport with a validity of up to at least 6 months ahead of the date of journey.
  • The passport must have at least two blank pages for obtaining the visa stamp and the issue date must not be older than 10 years.
  • A medical insurance certificate attested with RUE Belgosstrakh or Beleximgarant with any foreign insurance organization.
  • Confirmation from the consular of the paid fees.
  • Other additional documents if requested by the consular.
